| Lady Tigers come up short with 3rd Place finish |

|
Nevada, MO - In the Team Appreciation Tournament this weekend, the Lady Tigers go 4-1 and finish in 3rd Place. After a 2 hour rain delay, the Lady Tigers began the tournament with a 9-3 victory over the CJ Dawgs, scoring 5 runs in the 5th inning to put the game away behind a strong pitching performance by Jenna Harper. In game 2 of the day, the Lady Tigers jumped on the F.S. Heat - Robertson for 10 runs in the first ining and cruised to a 19-4 victory Hope Jurgensen and Jenna Campbell led the attack with 3 hits each. Sundays first game also started with bang as the Lady Tigers scored 9 runs in the 1st and 9 more in he 2nd and cruised to a 19-0 win over the Lady Legends from Ozark, MO. Jessie Camac had 3 hits and Tayler Shook, Hope Jurgensen and Kim Harper each added 2 hits for the Tigers. The Lady Tigers finished pool play with a perfect 4-0 record and #2 seed for bracket play with a 9-1 win over the Buzz from Lebanon, MO. Hayden Rathbun and Emily Matkin each had 2 hits to lead the Lady Tigers. In the most exciting game of the day, the Lady Tigers fell to the CJ Dawgs in 9 innings twice coming back to tie the game before finally running out of gas in the 9th inning. The final score was 9-7. Jenna Harper went the distance on the mound for the Lady Tigers and had 3 hits to pace the Lady Tigers.
